KYC Requirements & Maintenance of Records

• Consent can be obtained either through e-signature facility or physical signature.
• Provision of maintenance of KYC records as verified from KYC Registration Agency (KRA) is now included in the regulations.
• Records are required to be maintained for all interactions with clients, including prospective investors:
  • Physical record written & signed by client.
  • Telephone recordings.
  • Email from registered email ID.
  • Record of SMS messages.
  • Any other legally verifiable record.
• Such records shall be maintained for a minimum prescribed period.
